Because of this anatomical shape, the bit lies better in the mouth and the pressure is better distributed. TRUST bits are slightly curved so that they are better shaped towards the horse’s mouth. The balance between shape, material and weight is constantly taken into account. TRUST bits are composed with the greatest care and made of the best materials, the quality control and standard is therefore very high. Every day a team of technical professionals works on the production of the TRUST bits. All bits are designed, developed and handmade in the Netherlands. The bits of TRUST equestrian are ultra-Dutch. This will cause the horse to salivate more, which in turn will encourage a better acceptance of the bit. Sweet Iron will rust when it comes into contact with (air) humidity, the surface rust tastes sweet and naturally stimulates the saliva production. The Sweet Iron bits are made of steel and have a recognizable blue color. This increases the tongue activity so that the horse will produce more saliva and the jaws can relax more. The rings in the middle stimulate the horse to play with the bit. The mouthpiece with rings is a variant of the double-jointed bit. This bit is not suitable for the inexperienced rider. In most cases, the bit is used with two reins, one is normally attached to the bit and the other rein to the end of the gag straps. The bit can be used with one or two reins or with pelham straps.
